Tammy Abraham Lauds ‘Game Changer’ Jorginho

Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham has showered praises on Jorginho following their comeback victory against London rivals Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.

The hosts took an early lead through Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and were very dominant for the opening stages.

Frank Lampard brought on the Italian 15 minutes before the break and he quickly stamped his authority on the game by controlling Chelsea’s midfield.

Arsenal seemed to be on course for victory until the former Napoli man got the equalizer for the visitors, when a howler from Bernd Leno brought the West Londoners back to the game.

Abraham got the winning goal for Chelsea, after exchanging passes with Willian from a breathtaking counter-attack.

Abraham was quick to hail his team-mates after the big win against Mikel Arteta’s men.

"I give credit to the boys, I give credit to Jorginho. The first 30 minutes they dominated the ball,” he told Sky Sports.

“They were popping us in midfield, then this man (Jorginho) comes on and it was a whole different ball game.”

"Him coming on lifted the whole team and the second half was a better performance."

The 22-year-old has 12 Premier League goals so far this season but had not scored against any ‘big six’ opposition.

He added "It felt good. I knew it would be a matter of time before it came and thankfully it came today."
